    Akaroa highway hazards (6 May 2011)

    Look out for loose gravel between Duveauchelle and Akaroa. Also as you head up to Hilltop from Barry's Bay a stock truck dumped a huge amount off effluent on the road yesterday. On that left hand 25km/h corner about 1 km west of Barry's Bay, it covers the whole lane. Be careful.
