    Nice work!

Probably one of the best bikes ever built and if I was physically a little smaller I'd have one in the shed. Where did you get it? I quite probably sold that bike new if it's a local bike.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Great to see you get there, mine seemed to improve lots after the 10k service. So the gold TT2000 wont be two up then.

Em's got to do one more TT with me so we can get gold together, then after that we would like to do the 2000km on our own bikes and Em can lead...

Make that a pie and you have a bet - 6 ft 4, 130 kgs. I've ridden many thousands of kms on Street Triples - I was the first person in the South Island to ride one - including track days and a couple of long trips. Yeah, I fit them, but it's not spacious the way a Rocket (my next bike) or a Tiger is and it isn't a fat, heavy bike the way my T Bird or something like a GSX1400 is. I find after a couple of hours my knees and back are giving me grief, but then I am a few years older than you.

The thing that blows me away about the Street Triple was how that engine makes them feel like a 1000 cc bike everywhere but top end and when I rode an SV1000 back to back I decided the Street Triple was better everywhere. I can ride one around town in top gear with no snatching, I can sit on the open road at 110 - 130 kmh and they feel just right and you don't need to change down to overtake yet when I want to ride in a more spirited manner they love it and the bike is waaaaaaaaaaaay faster than I am. Most bikes are faster than I am, but this is waaaaaaaaay faster. If you want to tour, throw on a set of bags and fuck off - your only problem will be the fact that NZ is so small. And the brakes and handling are brilliant and certainly far better than what I could use.

My son bought one just before his 18th birthday and did 22000 kms in his first year and loves his with an unholy passion. It's now a streetfighter with all kinds of custom shit and he's muttering about NOS or a turbo, but he says he can't imagine ever selling it.

And that sound. My son has a 3 into 1 into 3 Harris system and his sounds like a Formula One race car on acid and the accessory Arrow system is stunning, but even with stock pipes they sound tasty.
