Would this be an option for someone wanting to come over and ride the TAT?

would end up quite an expensive trip unless you got a hell deal for multi day rental.
what about buying a bike then doing the tat, then flick it off before you head home.
three of us are doing that,my dr would cost me about $30 a day +gas if i threw it
off a bridge ,then hopped on the plane for home.'coare i wouldn't do that.
the other option would be to ship over bike and farkle your way to tennesse to start the trail.

    Hey GPSMan,
We continue to look into different options to provide one way rentals for the TAT at a reasonable cost as we get requests for that service. I'll post something up here if and when we do, problem is finding a partner on the west coast to work with.
As Richyrich said, buying a bike then selling at end of ride is always an option and the insurance would be less compared to a rental bike. If we can help out in this matter let us know.
Until then we can help out as far as any prepping, advice, or receiving any shipments of bikes or gear at our shop. We are located about 1 1/2 hours from the start in Jellico, TN.

What about doing a buy back option as well- gives the punter less restrictions, you could supply insurance, sell luggage etc
