Arrived at a site today out in the back blocks to see why the zero's and ones weren't making it back to 'mission control'
Rolled up the drive of the friendly farmer and announced my intention to drive up his hill and perform electronic magic.
"Not it that you won't" says he pointing at my manly 4x4 (work supplied) 'survival truck'.
"I suppose I could walk up there" I said in a very small voice squinting into the distance at my destination.
"Take the farm bike if you like mate" he replies pointing at a DR Z250 lurking in the shed.
Now I ride a sprotsbike when the urge takes me but I have fond memories of fanging round the farm on knobbly tyres as a young fella.
'Bugger OSH' I thinks, 'Carpe Diem' and all that.
Bloody awesome fun! Took the basics up there for a start but had to shoot back a couple of times to grab some other things to try. Just couldn't stop smiling. Getting paid to throw big roosts (well 250 sized anyhoo...) feels good.
Well worth getting cold for.
