Talking Got me a new bike..

First ride home tonight on my new (second hand) Hornet!!!!!!!!

Alicetown to Plimmerton via Haywards and Pauatahanui inlet

Thanks heaps to all the folk that replied to my original thread http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...-expecting-you

Great advice on which bikes might be appropriate for a newb who's slightly on the taller side.

My learning has just begun - I do intend to take it slowly. Reckon a bike maintenance course might also be a good idea with of course time on the road.

Picked up bike via TSS Red Baron - thanks to Susan and team for support and patience with my purchase. Highly recommend these folk.

I think I might have difficulty sleeping tonight - bring on the weekend

    See you out there!!

    Barts.

Susan's lovely, I've heard that Jimmy might be a bit homo though!

    (agree about the right choice).

    Great choice!

    Enjoy.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

+1 on the basic maintenance course, I personally think it should be a license requirement for cars and bikes.
