befgore i even start the bike i notice a bolt is nearly falling onto the ground.....get the mechanix to check all their work again as im pretty pissed about it
alls good so off i go ride for 30 mins start slowing for an intersection and hello wheres my gear slector gone.
the f%&$wits didnt put the circlip on properly and it fell off along with the selector
on the phone and let rip
moral: which i only learnt today
always check your bike once someone does somthing to it

We've had an instance where we've taken the wheel in to get a new tyre fitted, get it home and find they've fitted it wrong way round.

One of our mates who lives out of town got his bike back home after a service and new tyres fitted and found the tyres fitted wrong way round. It was such a hassle for him to get back into Wgtn that he didn't bother getting them to redo it, got a local shop to do it.

have heard several other horror stories from other people, but generally the service is fine for us.

When my Duc got it's 10,000km service I arrived at the shop to collect it only to find them steam cleaning it for me - now that's what I call service! (and the mechanic wrote on the jobsheet: "test ride to check it out - what a sweet bike this is"!!)
