Last minute details to hand:
If looking to trailer your bike for this ride plse contact me and I now have a place to park trailers whilst you are doing this ride.
Team Support Vehicle available for this ride also, bikes with less than 200kms of fuel capacity can offload named fuel cannister into along with any luggage etc.
Attending the 3 hour Gravel Road Ride - ONE stop will be made approx midway - bring hydration and mng tea with you.
Wishing to ride that shorter route but still take in that scenic place of interest, come along as Group 2 will be riding the shorter route, both groups will have Ride Leaders and also run with Corner Man System and also Tail End Charlie.
Both groups will visit a scenic place of interest and this is being televised JUNE on Country Calendar. A book with details and specifics will be passed around to view over our luncheon break which will be Waipu Pizza Barn. Both groups will meet here for lunch.
New for us, our quizzzzzz, we now have new SUPPORTERS who have allocated to us spot prizes for our rides. These will be issued out to lucky candidates. LIKE OUR QUIZZZZ??? Many have expressed sheer delight in a small portion of entertainment whilst waiting for the serveries to dish out up to 20 luncheon meals so share in that delight, as YOU will be asked to offer up a smattering of questions on some of our NEXT rides. Wait, it gets better, NEW to us, NEVER FEAR, GRAVEL RIDERS are here...... our quizzes are conducted in a TEAM support manner aka we pair you up with a partner to brain wrangle out those answers. You WILLL know people by the end of this

I joined in on this ride and had a lot of fun I was riding a 86 BMW R80PD.
We had a good leader who kept up a good pace for us and chose some really good roads fro whangarei I did 220kms
I think we all behaved quite well with no fall offs

Confirmed details will be posted up next week - this will be held inside of RiverHead forest and will be a full day of skills and loop circuits to practise those skills.

This ride is by arrangement with Henry and Dave (this is their ride details and their route) Dave hails from Taranaki so knows the area well
Finalising last minute details:
SAT MNG: Arrive at 9:30AM We depart punctual and on time 10:00am as we have a full day of gravel roads to get through.
- First refuel and lunchbreak Kawhia approx eta 1pm.
- We will take a stop at Raglan/refuel again
- WE conclude Sat at Awakino
- SAT night planned accomm: Awakino Pub - Beds will be made available for all - a package deal is available dinner/bed/brekkie
Longest km stretch without fuel stop on sat approx 150 - 180kms
Team 4 x 4 support vehicle available from Sunday afternoon - If less than 200kms fuel capacity bring spare 5L named container
TWO BIKES travelling with us over this weekend will also be carrying emergency fuel
SUN MNG: 9AM We depart punctual and on time from Awakino Pub - as this is a full day of riding - THE RIDE BEGINS
