As long as you bring bike specific spares in case of a breakdown I don't care what you choose to ride

Bummer, so many people working QBW, obviously your bosses are unaware there is a ride planned, so rude!

    Blah

We will be over there for the weekend, probably roughing it at the nurses hostel, Just deciding weather to take the DR650 or DT230 or both.

Would be happy to take you to the green hut that bro Andi mentioned, it is a nice easy ride on a trials bike

It is technical in places but ride-able

My cell no is 021 472 853 if you want to catch up for that one
    Cheers Paul

    Gi'day mate

The 3 day route in post #1 is the first draft plan that JATZ put together to get the ball rolling early so the trip happens. No doubt all riders are happy for a fluid type weekend, there was the option of the looksee down the top Slab Hut Creek track on Sunday as we come out of Big River Hut, your option is in the immediate area so we could do the lower one to Green Hut with you boys as that also has the option of continuing out to SH7 for another new track addition... if you plan to start it from Big Rier Road that is?? I'm easy, will you boys be riding in that area on the Sunday?

I might come up yet, I could peel off from Greenland easy enough on the last day and head home so maybe I will do a midnight run up from Wonka to Reefton.

Like my bro I know the area very well from 4 wheelin and MTBing and can show some cool tracks that are a l m o s t good for ADV riding river dependent and time permitting, maybe not on this round but another.

Gotta choose now, Brass Monkey, Catlins, Tekapo, Reefton or Southland ... think I need 5 QB weekends preferably 5 days long.
    Cheers Andi & Ellen
