    The Big Four.

Cant remember exactly how it was when I first heard this int he 80's....but was something along the lines of:

Honda - you meet the nicest people on a Honda. Nice bikes (Farkin boring bikes).
Yamaha - build some weird arsed bikes. Always a bit different to the others.
Kawasaki - Fastest motors, quickest bikes, but quirky handling.
Suzuki - best all round of the Jappas.

Can anyone remember other versions of this?

JLo, Beyonce, Kylie, and Lady Gaga went thataway. think they followed Iron Maiden.

    Or should this be:
Led Zep, Deep purple, Rolling Stones, Black sabbath?

    Match em up then

Honda - metallica due to popularity and reliability
    Kawasaki - slayer for speed/craziness
    Suzuki - megadeath
    Yamaha - anthrax

    There was:

Harley: I'd rather push my Harley than ride a rice burner....or summit like that.

When I bought a Ducati it was " a Doo whati???" ( when they were exotic....not mass produced...)

Then a BMW " Old mans bike"

All I recall was Honda used "Number One under the sun" - at least for their trail bikes.
And there was a (short-lived) radio ad that asked "Girls, would you like something red, hot and throbbing between your legs"
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

You'll remember the Suzuki one using the 'Born to be Wild " theme....

    ......Born to be wiiiiiiiiiiiiild....Suzuki.......

"Laughed....we nearly shat...we had not laughted so much since Grandma died
and aunty Mabel caught her left tit in the mangle....
    We are filthy sinners
Ahhhhhhh sole....." another line from the less connected 80's

    Blah

Jap bikes were invented to give fuckwits on harleys someone to follow when they got more than a few kms from home.

    '......Born to be wiiiiiiiiiiiiild....zzzzzuki.......'
