Warning - Paekakariki Hill Road (20 May 2011)

Crash southern side of the summit on Paekakariki Hill Road has resulted in a bitumen spill, approximately 10 meters long. An attempt has been made to clean it up but it will remain slippery for quite some time.

Take care with your riding over here!

Not very nice as you don't get much warning. Not far south from the cutting. Last place you want to exit the road as theres a big drop there. A small bituman tanker flipped and dumped half it's load over the road. Sticky bloody stuff so they have covered it in kitty litter to try soak it up. Bloody boots are covered in it as I had to be there for work.
If you are what you eat, then I'm fast, cheap and easy
I have a gas axe and a welder! What do you mean "it won't fit"?
