Wish I was cool enough to be a "biker".......

I have had my full licence for years and after being sick of debt I have been riding around on a lil 150 (tractor) for the past few years. I don't have a car licence so I ride it everyday, in every type of weather. I like to practice my race starts at the traffic lights and often take off faster than any of those "real bikes". Really pisses them off - they come flying past me a few metres later. Reckon it annoys them even more when they realise I am a GIRL!

Dickheads, the world needs them to keep us on our feet!

And that there puts the lie to the argument. 'Rider or 'Biker' is about the person. The person doesn't change when he/she gets off their 1000cc tourer and gets onto their 250cc runabout. The twat originally described by FM is obviously fixated by image of the bike and probably has a a branded leather jacket and I bet wears a black 'pudding bowl' half helmet. Poser.

There are motorcyclists (straights) bikers (a state of mind and attitude NOT what you ride) and bikies (the 1%ers)

The attitudes expressed above a definitely biker ...

So your main form of transport is two wheels and you ride all year round including through winter on anything from 50cc scooter to a 2000cc+ bike your a biker.

You ride any bike only when the sun shines your a poser who can't call himself a biker.
What he said. I know a guy who rides 15 - 20,000 kms a year and hasn't owned a car in years. His bike? A CB125. He loves it and has had it for nearly 20 years and bought it when his Norton Commando 850 was giving him grief - he still owns that too, but hardly ever rides it.

Serendipity would be pootling up behind him on the open road one day....
And ss commodore drivers are more fun, they sit on 135km and I'm on his tail,160km still there, hell he can be radar bait, then after he put drivers wheels over centreline on several corners(cause they handle like shit, unlike the race versions lol,and not a ford) finds a neat straight winds up,so I let him think he's got me,then wind on throttle,at 210km he backs off for corner way early, moral was we did at least 100km of secondary and state highway in quick time, and why would I pass was happy traveling at 125-130km he was doing.

ouch, how could you type those two words together like that? Losw and fat should never be put together, side by side in that order. Removing the fat from milk leaves white water.

Tell him that you heard something similar, but the cut off point was 150hp. Since his piece of shite cruiser isn't anywhere near that, it makes him a mere rider at best. Alternatively you could just get real close to him, close enough to invade her personal space, and then laugh loudly and ask him who told him that ridiculous bullshit. Tell him that only a complete cock smoker would believe that crap, and that if turns around you'll give him a reach around to make him feel better.

Actually - I was thinking about this while looking like I was working this morning.

As soon as someone starts talking about 'bikers' n stuff like that. You know, a real biker does blah blah blah.... or I'm a rider not a blah blah... I just turn off and stop listening.

I own motorcycles and I have done for a long time. Sometimes I ride my motorcycles a lot and sometimes I dont. But I try very hard not to let a motorcycle or any other object define who or what I am because I honestly think that is the direction to hell. Am I a biker, hell no, I'm a sad old middle aged fart .... and proud of it...
