    ZX6R sub-model numbers?

    Hey guys,

So i just bought a 2005 zx6r, and i would like to find out its submodel number?
i keep hearing c or a or b floating around, was just wondering what they were and how to identify them?

Ive been told mine is a "c" model.

Where does this model come from? i know mine is a New Zealand new but what area is it based from?

basically just looking for some more info regarding the models for the 05-06 zx6r

    cheers,

I don't blame the bike running away from our weather. Maybe it just wanted to get ridden year round.

Because it's compliant with Canadian standards (metric speedo) and possibly because it was manufactured by Kawasaki in Lincoln Nebraska.

Because most NZ new Kawasaki road bikes are Canadian spec ones.
One exception I know of is the latest ZX10. The ABS version of it is Aussie spec (full power). The non ABS version is Canadian spec... and has less hp

Congrats, I hope you don't fit an obscenely noisy Micron muffler onto it like some black bandits do.
