Yep (fixed that for you)
Since the weld will likely be a bit porous, rough the case up for 25mm all round the weld and smear a light layer of silicon over everything.
Invest in a dowty washer (metal washer with built in o-ring) to go under the drain bung to cure you of the temptation to nip things too tight and dring the bung so you can lock wire it to stop it coming loose.
