    Well, made it to lake tekapo, staying here the night, back to nelson tomorrow'. This whole trip has been a bit of a rush!

    Sounds like a whirlwind tour of the SI! Brings back fond memories it does - also you have to promise not to rabbit on about how good it is, since Scummy and the rest of the SI riders hate congestion!

    Last night smashed my own personal distance record.
    lake tekapo to hamilton in 22 hours ( i took 72 down south and SH 4 & 3 in the north.

    thanks to Slumdog, Genie for a bit of souther hospitality, sorry i did not get to meet some of you, I used KB on my phone most of the time.
    My motorola XT502 has got to be one of the best tools of the trip, with google maps GPS, Email, WiFi, and all the other shit.
    This mod was the only one I did, and fuck it was handy down south!Click image for larger version.
