Just bought a bike and was doing a good look over it yesterday and noticed that the hot start is jammed/stuck. I can't push it in. There is pretty much no movement in it.
What could I do to solve the problem?
Cheers

I had this problem when i got my bike,it's fairly common.....to fix mine i took the seat and tank off to gain access to the Hot Start Plunger(in the carb),unscrew the plastic part and you should find that the plunger will be stuck in the carb,i just sprayed heaps of CRC on the plunger while pulling in the hotstart lever in and out ,it took a while but it eventually freed....apply a bit of grease on the plunger when you put it back in,and something i do if i'm in the garage or walking past the bike is pull the hotstart in,this should help prevent it getting stuck again.
Good luck, and just so you know,it could take a while,i was just about to give up and go back to the drawing board then it just popped free...........
what do you expect its a Honda, told ya not to buy one!!!!!!!
