Should I $1 reserve my SMR?

Sure is hard work selling this at the moment.

Would like it sold but i would like to get more than $10k since it cost $16k last year!!

How much do you think i would get if i $1 reverse my 2010 KTM 450 SMR?

Only 2 options re selling it. $1 reserve or buy now. Yes it will sell with $1 reserve but will it sell with $10k reserve is the question you should be asking. i can only answer option 1 as i don't want to buy it now!

I got $300 more than the GB owed me. In a week. Pretty happy about that.

you could 1 dollar reserve it. then make a fake account as a backup or get someone else to bid on top of it, if you dont want to go for the price u want it to go for. if you know what i mean.

tis a hard question.

Some morons will tell you that $1 reserve will tell you what the market values it at, but thats a load of shit, not everyone who wants one can necessarily afford what its worth, not everyone checks trademe regularly enough to know its at auction etc etc. Its a risk, and personally, I dont think I could take the chance on something of the value of your bike, unless you are desperate to get rid of it.

It isnt regod, and you have the GSXR now, put it away till summer and sell it then.

Could put it away until king of levels then take it up there to sell?
Therefore bringing the bike to people who may actually want it as there is a decent class of motards up there usually

yeah. and if people see it and know someone who is keen.

$1 reserve is sweet for a half fucked project, but selling an item like the SMR and thinking you will get close to what its worth assumes that the people who are after one will see it, will have access to the cash, and are in circumstances that allow them to source the cash and purchase it within the week or ten days notice they have before an auction closes.

It isnt costing you anything if you dont ride it right?
