Did a bit of tyre kicking yesterday, well buying actually, but whilst we were waiting (we had had our complementary coffee and attended to another pre-tyre purchase) we swanned about next door in the Hyosung shop, just for a giggle really.
Some chap was looking to buy (I think?) and desk man remarked that ''in the 250 market, Hyosung outsell all other 250's by 5/1.

Could this be accurate?

I suspect if they are looking at new bike sales he could be right... there isn't a whole lot of choice out there on the new bike front right now. And hyo sit pretty well in the line up.

Might be true in aus as learners can ride a restricted 650. Highly doubt its 5:1 over here as i see plently of new ninjas about.

Not entirely accurate. First quarter Hyosung outsold Kawasaki by over 2 - 1 (45 versus 22) and Suzuki (20) from memory. That being said, Suzuki and Kawasaki only market one model each in the 250cc bracket. Hyosung offer three.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were the top selling 250cc bike, but I couldn't see it being 5 to 1.

Anyone seen the new Honda CBR250? I think it's a grand less than the Hyosung 250 and looks pretty nifty too
