    Why I bought a motard and I'm loving it. So crashable.

    This form of motorsport needs to start in NZ now! Nearly any kind of bike can compete and do finel, minimal expenses, no danger, maximum accessibility. This is good stuff.

    Reminds me of a bucket race up at the Slipway in Wgtn a couple of years ago - was hosing down (and freezing and windy). Left a wake in the surface water as you rode through it.

    Apart from all the obvious skills I'm lacking for a competition like this, the one I probably wouldn't overcome is forgetting the feckin course.

    Would love to give it a crack anyway, it would be a hell of a sense of achievement building up to a eventually doing a clean run.

    Annual recertifications for the NZ Police riders. Not as hard out, but the bikes weigh a bloody ton. Try throwing one of them around.
