For those who came in late, I've had some employment issues over the last decade or so, during that time the FXR has been parked up the kids have halfway grown up & the mortgage has been paid. There was nothing left for the motorcycling budget while I reinvented myself career wise. Today we got the good news that our application to refinance our mortgage has been approved, We're now paying about 2% less on our loan & have squeezed in a little bit more to buy back my old (Hinkley) Triumph Trident, it's a good commuter & I reckon I can buy it cheaper than I could recommission the FXR. It's about 120 k's per day for the commute so it'll be ride to work & work to ride. Obviously my riding skills will be a bit rusty, but you never forget.
