Looks only the owner can love...... But good on long trips. I had a VTR1000 loved it for the first 2 hours on a ride.

I know the feeling. Loved my R6 on the outbound leg. On the way home sometimes I could have happily thrown it in a ditch and walked home. Without even hitting sheep to end up in the ditch.

I'm quite looking forward to having a gawk at the GSR-750 in the flesh.
I reckon it will be a reasonable bike after the "specified by accountants" suspension is seen to.
I'll bet Suzuki pinched pennies there

About the same as my VSTROM 1000
The global Suzuki site states 211kg for base model and 215kg for the ABS, think it's a typo from someone at Suzuki NZ. Still heavier than the GSXR though.

Mate Mark had one out for a goodly burst yesterday. He has already made a positive procurement decision, he says.

Mid-size nekkids with good ergonomics have much to commend them. I'm very scared to take one out for a test ride.

The least you could do is take one for a squirt and report back, Brett!

I know someone who would be keen to hear about them. I'm still quite smitten by the 2011 model that has an "X" in it's model designation.

Oh, OK then. I'll go and weasel up young Pete and see what happens.

Still sounds a little on the meaty side at 211kg for a 750, saw one yesterday in the shop though, looks good in white and the price is good

    Z750 has gone from 108hp and 194kg in 2004 to 95hp and 215kg. Thank Euro 4.

The GSR isn't meant to be a Brutale competitor it's a mass produced, reasonably priced, do anything naked motorcycle with comfortable ergos and predictable chassis and engine dynamics. A modern day 1978 GS750 in other words.
