    BRONZ Auckland?

Ok, I'm not trying to spark up a debate about BRONZ v MAG v whatever (but it could possibly end up that way)

All I want to know is, has anyone seen or heard from BRONZ Auckland lately? I am a member, have been for a couple of years but have not seen an email or any other kind of communication. The last BRONZ event I was at was the 'We are watching you Mr Smith' meeting at the Viaduct about a year ago.

This is not a criticism, not trying to start a fight and not being sarcastic, I am just genuinley interested if they are still going and in what shape or form.

Welcome to the April 2011 edition of the BRONZ Auckland newsletter.

    Electric Motorcycle Prototype

An interesting video about the future of two-wheeled electric vehicles sent in by a BRONZ member: View Here.

    Free Parking Petition

The Free Parking petition closed on April 11th with over 4000 signatures.

Free parking has long been one of the attractions of motorcycle riding, particularly for those who commute. Wellington City Council is currently reviewing their policy on charging for motorcycle parking. Their decision could set a precedent for other regions of the country, affecting not only Wellington riders but everyone on two wheels.

BRONZ Wellington launched a campaign to 'Keep Wellington a Motorcycle Friendly City, keep our parking as it is!'

We will keep you updated as to the outcome.
