    It starts

After 2 1/2 years of bitter experience of the opposite, that it starts in the morning.

PS - does the existence of this thread suggest it may be a wet long weekend?
Sh*t doesn't just "happen". There is always an a*sehole involved.

the main difference(and requirement) between a road bike and an ADV bike is ground clearance

Reliability. You can adventure on anything. Buit if you can't rely on it getting you home....

After the comments that were posted about what people thought the new Suzuki ADV bike should have I was interested in what people thought was the most important thing for an ADV bike. The replies that are coming in are quite varied which suggests that an Adventure ride to one person is completely different to someone else.

Wet weekend, actually had a couple of days in Auckland (saw the KTM dealer in Newmarket yesterday but luckily for the wallet it was shut...) and am now at work trying to catch up on "stuff" .....

Crashability maybe wasn't to be the first thing I was thinking but it is now.

This has got me stumped. I guess weight is a big thing for me. With the places I like to go, I need a bike I can pick up, and manhandle out of a bog hole.
