Whole can of worms open here. My KLR 650 doesn't even have 40 horsepower and I gotta pay full rego. Now that ain't value for money is it??. There should be some other criteria for rego costs.

I've thought about putting a KLR600 barrel on and re-vinning as a 600 (assuming they use the engine capacity that is cast into the side of the barrel as the indicator of size.)
Even with the cost of re-vinning it wouldn't take to long to recoup the costs in terms of difference between under/over 600.
Wouldn't take too long to put the 650 barrel back on either.
