Talking Progression of a dirt bike rider!

It all started one sunny April day with the purchase of my DRZ 125. Little did I know how addicted I would be to riding that damn bike.

On my first lesson I fell off twice (just extensive bruising to the legs due to the bike landing on top of me) and didn't make it out of 2nd gear. Clearly I'm not mechanically minded and don't take instruction well - but my teacher (you know who you are Mr Miyagi) was very patient, either that or he hid his despair very well, and by third lesson I had finally managed to change gear and stand up to go over the drain in the paddock.

Hopefully, one day, will make it out of the paddock and up to Woodhill to do some serious damage to myself. I love that damn bike

Hope you take Mr Miyagi's advice when cleaning your bike and you should possibly change your name from Singing Chef to Secret Karate Kid lover. Just a thought.

I have considered it, at the moment i ride with a bandanna tied around my head in the true karate fashion, i have no time to clean my bike, only to ride. throttle on..throttle off

Definitely didn't seem simple to start with but I love it anyway. Thanks for your advice

Oh, so you sit on both sides of the fence - dirt and road. Lucky devil I guess I only have to worry about running into cows and cow shit as opposed to cars and that's about as much as I can handle

Yeah, but what else has he been in? He's been known as Mr Miyagi for about 30 years. Even his wife calls him Mr Miyagi. But you're right. I bow to your superior knowledge of all things Karate Kid

I studied hard to attain the position of Black with tinge of gold belt. But that's the great thing about it, consistency! you never no what jackie will be called next, and you know his full name, with mr miyagi he has a kind of mysterious persona to him.

Nah, I have to disagree with you there. He's my second cousin twice removed. His name is Hamish Miyagi. Works in chip shop in Tokyo making deep fried Mars Bars all day long. Just read your blog. Funny and Poetic. Killer combo you got goin there dude. And congrats on your belt. You must have worked hard for it. It's something I can only dream of being a mere gurl.
