Besides the pipe arrangement, and maybe the tank and the studs on the seat, it looks pretty bloody good to me.
Light, and with that Vincent engine it would boogie.

Hard to believe that Vincents were ever so cheap as to end up like this. The original bike must have been written off for this to happen....still it was obviously someones pride and joy..... good snapshot in time though.....
Big Dave would go on about buying a new one as old bikes require too much owner input blah blah blah....still I rather own this than a Harley.

Lots of Vincent motors ended up in speedway sidecar outfits.

You can still buy new engines. BTW this is what a Vincent should look like

    End up like this???
looks like a huge improvement on the original wouldn't be surprised if that's an Egli Frame and got telescopic and disc brake front end as well as swingarm rear all improvements over the originals.
maybe the styling police need to pay a visit though?

I don't think that Phil Irivings design needed this......

Phil Irving didn't think so either....I've got a report of an Aussie Vincent gathering where both Phil and Terry Prince ( the pom who actually designed and built the Egli frames for Fritz ) were present. Apparently Phil could barely bring himself to speak to Terry.
That said, Eglis should look better than the one pictured - it takes real commitment to achieve that level of fugly....
