    Interesting...

I dont quite make 157cm and am really impressed with the mirrors on Millie, I can almost give myself a start, mistaking my ventura pack for a very dark vehicle right up my date. I have not compared me dripping wet to dry in the rear view aspect *snigger*

It was actually a piss-take, but somehow lucked into the mirror extenders... but only when I looked again a minute ago.

I suggest starting with something better than a Suzuki... like a BMW. My mirrors don't bother me at all, and I'm a big boy.

Of course... it could be because my bars are almost a metre wide, but they give better leverage

I dont understand the point of a GPS on a bike, afterall a motorcycle is all about getting away from all that crap.

One would hope, Mr Hitcher, that one doesn't consult the one known to be VERY economical with the truth when one gets one's suspension modified.....

Horses for courses. It's that thought process that the bike started its very existence designed to withstand the elements and able to cope with certain demands. Yeup, they are expensive, but cheaper in the long run, than going through an expensive process of modifying, and it's still not exactly what you're after.

Simple things, like a 720W alternator, for lots of accessories, without risking overloading the bike, killing your battery etc. Top notch ABS, that you couldn't easily retrofit and electronic suspension, to adjust somewhat on the fly, or stopped, to suit a wide range of surfaces and requirements.

I guess I talk about the GSA, as that's what I have, comes it at almost $40k brand new (got a demo with 4k on the clock - what's 4k to me?) and you should be over 6 foot to handle the damn thing, but just riding along, you know it can take anything you can throw at it and still eat up the km.

As I said tho, horses for courses, if you're enjoying it, then that's what really counts. Of course, I don't have to spend time modifying suspension, mirrors, screen etc, I spent all the coin on lights and electrical goodies

My mates reckon they're better off when the GPS isn't around me. I can get them more lost and find more interesting roads with it, but once you're doing playing, it can get you out to the nearest gas etc.

The general direction is all one needs to know. One does wonder how we got on before listening to a little voice saying...''turn left now bozo''....
