I have a Ninja 250r and I do think you will find it too small. Not because of the low seat height, but for the very short distance from the seat to the bars. It might feel quite comfortable in the showroom, and even when you are just getting started at low speeds, but as soon as you get onto a bit of open road and hit some twisties, you will wonder why you can't get the damn bike to turn in properly. And the answer will be your lack of leverage on the bars. I am only 5'7 and I notice this issue. It wasn't until I had a ride on a mate's SV650 that I noticed with the more stretched out riding position how much easier it was to counter-steer into corners. I would by some Woodcraft clip-on bars for mine to get a better riding position if I was planning to keep it for any length of time.

    Good luck.

I'm 6'4" with a John Cleese esq stylee and I spent a good couple of weeks trying various bikes, in the end I settled on the cruiser style as that was what suited me.
(I know , I know it's a Hyosung) I test rode a Bandit and a Hornet but did not feel comfortable on them. The Hyosung GT250 was a good size and it felt a lot better ..... but each bike I tried it always came back to the cruiser ish styleee......
As others have said..... try many different bikes you will find one that suits.

hey mate im 6 ft 3 at 126kg (muscle haha) i found basically every 250 sports bike out there i could flat foot quite easily. The old school racers are a bit shorter like the CBR, youl look huge on one of these lol the hornet and bandits can be flat footed but are still comfortable and seem to have an upright seating position, i settled on a gsx invader myself and am quite comfortable on it, it has good leg room and an upright seating position (although the power gets pretty annoying!!) personally i think the hyosungs are the tallest 250 out there, youll still flat foot it but it should be more comfortable than others. plus naked ones look mint

Im 6'3 and 120kgs but im a rather big guy even for 6'3 and i found the hyo gt250r was the only bike i could ride for longer then half hour.
I just bought a harley and was dissapointed how small it was LOL
Hyo is good mate, Don't bother tryin for a endorsement on your learners. They wont ever let it thro and you have to be on restricted for over 6months first and if your 25 you'll be able to go for your full anyways.
