Anyone know when one of these was last for sale in NZ? And, if so, what were they asking then?

There was a genuine ex Rothmans Honda superbike RC30 here in Hamilton in the late 90's. It sold for around 15K.
I had the privelage of knowing the person that bought it and had the pleasure of riding it around during our South Island trip back in 98. That was a monster of a bike. 150km/h in 1st and on from that. MMMMMmmmmmm. Memories![]()

He's asking too much. The small headlight, black mirror model was originally a 77hp Japanese market only version. Someone needs to ask if it's been derestricted or is it one of the very few Australasian market ones that made it downunder in derestricted form.
For the record, I think it is unlikely that RC45s will ever be as collectable as RC30s. RC45s could almost be regarded a failure, rather than the game changer the RC30 was.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
Failure or not, it was still one hell of a sexy bike. And I bet if one landed at your front door step, you wouldn't put it out for the weekly rubbish collection
I think it is well known that they did much better at the IOM, long distance Le Mans and Boldor races then they did in the World Superbike Series.
