C'mon Dan you of all people know that even the GSX1400 could do the quarter in 7 seconds.

I only ever did 12.5s. That was launching in second gear at an unprepped Meremere and fishtailing my way through the first 50m. Very difficult to get off the line tidily on that surface. I expect a GSX1400 could do low 11s with the right rider on a high-traction strip.
