Cool Wohoo back riding, what a GREAT feeling.

Wohoooo I am back riding again...
Yep I know I was supposed to wait til Friday... but it got the better of me.

After putting on all my gear again... plus the m/bike pants that lou gave me, and they are so warm to wear (Thanks Lou)

So off up the motorway, I headed towards the city....
    WOHOOOO wow it felt great....

I went to get the tyre pressure's checked out at Motohaus...
since the bike had not moved in the 8 weeks, I had a wee chat with Kerry.

After having done about 20kms I was starting to feel it in my tum muscles.
Thought ouch time to get home....

So I then headed back down the motorway... to grab a couple of things at the supermarket.

So all I have done on the bike today is 38kms.
Now that may not seem a lot but for me today that was heaps...

So I now know that I really have to rebuild up the kms slowly and not over do it. I feel that it may take a little while before I will go and do a long bike run again. But I am ok with the small rides to the shops and back etc.

But I am so glad that I went out on the bike today.

These last 8 weeks have been a long 8 weeks.
But I am now back.... WOHOOOOOOOO.

    Congratulations, crashe!

Take it easy, but enjoy yourself.
Yeah, I know that's probably a contradiction in terms, but this is that kind of thread where it's mandatory to shower the poster in platitudinous drivel... Did I just say that out loud
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Good on ya - onwards & upwards girl.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Cool

    cheers guys and gals....

Yep I am healing nice and slowly.... but still have a long way to go..
    Still no heavy lifting etc....
Just taking it one day at a time...

Now feeling sore and tired after todays little ride, but then I was expecting that to happen... as that happened when I started to drive my car as well.

So its just short wee rides.... and build up the stamina...

Nope I wont be doing the coro loop until at least summer....

Good on you Crashe. Just remember to take it easy for the first few rides.

Do you notice that you feel the cold more after your op?
