Having ridden naked myself in the past .. I am pretty sure he was .. only problem is that in the cold it's actually quite hard to piss for some time afterwards ...

He is safety conscious ...needed the boots for walking to and from the bike (wouldn't want to stub his toe aye, that would hurt) and the gloves so if he did fall off he wouldn't graze his palms....
