    My gloves stink

    Hi folks,

I bought a pair of the Waterproof Chief Winter Leather Gloves and they always stink of smelly feet.
Ive tried freezing them to kill any bacteria that would cause the smell but it made no difference.

    Any ideas?

Have no ideas on how your gloves stink of feet!

But try putting baking power inside them, then put them in a plastic bag and leave for a couple days for baking soda to work its magic.
After a couple of days turn gloves inside out, wash/rinse out the baking soda and put them somewhere warm to dry.
No body move... I dropped my brain

Freezing don't kill bacteria. You have to boil them in hot water for good 10 minutes.

Actually I have no idea either. I tried hand washing, soap, washing machine etc... made it even worse. So I just bought a new pair.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

    +1
Vodka mixed with tea-tree oil. It's what they use in the movie biz to clean and freshen costumes.

To a large bowl, add one bottle of Vodka, one bottle of cheap Whiskey, 50 mls of Rum, 1 ltr of pineapple juice and ice. Soak gloves for two hours, if they still smell after two hours, drink the remaining concoction and get on TM and you'll end up buying 87 pairs at the buy now price.

Silk glove liners. Buy several and rotate them, much easier washing them than the gloves. Also easier to get your hands in and out when the gloves are wet, you don't pull the lining out etc.
