    Mt Eden Motorcycles - Aprilia

Mt Eden Motorcycles are now Aprilia & Moto Guzzi agents, as well as Kawasaki and Gas Gas.

    Damn that Tuono looks good!

The Breva is rather neat as well...

The Tuono looks awesome. Saw it in Masterton motorcycles the other day. Engine looked kind of weird to begin with but quickly grew to love it

    Relinquished it.
My understanding is parallel imports on the Aprilias were problematic and no sales on the Guzzis, so Ray has decided to concentrate their core brands.
I'll have the new web site - sans italians - online by Wednesday.

i wondered. AMPS have a Haga RSV for $29000, one of which sold on trademe recently for $20k. funnily enough it's been there for a year. maybe they're targeting the dinkies in auckland, but for those of us south of the border, they look too flashy and expensive. i guess they do ok out of the harleys though. i've been into amps about 6 times, and never been asked if i needed any help. went in one day to buy gloves and a helmet but ended up going over the bridge and getting them from colemans.

Gutted! There are folks that I rate as friends work there and the boss, Ray Pratt is one of nature's...they wouldn't ignore anyone intentionally. I go there some times just because I like the place and the people - just tyre kicking.

Of course i try and avoid Lou.

Hey there, just in response to you Marty, my partner & I have been in and out of there for a while - I wouldnt say regulars, but a couple times a year. Yes the guys do leave you alone to BROWSE and then normally would come up and say if they could "HELP", but you got to look at them too - or they will think that you dont need any help and just leave you alone. It is called reading body language. Let's face it ... there are a few of us that just cruise into these places just to "Have a look" and the cruise out again. So the next time you go in there...look straight at them and "Open" your mouth and say what you are after ... you won't have any problems after doing that.

Terry & I did feel the same way maybe the first time we went in there ... but just dont be shy!!! Speak up! If you dont ask, you dont get! (my words of wisdom - now you can laugh!)

    AMPS gave it away.
Thank you to Helen and Don and their open slather import rules. I hope the Italians work for Mike.
