ACC Minister Nick Smith says reductions in levies for households are being considered because of improvements in the Corporation's accounts.
The board would look at the issue at a meeting today, he told Parliament's Transport and Industrial Relations Select Committee.
ACC was expecting a $2.5 billion surplus this financial year, he said.
A savings of $177 million in ACC's non-earners account was forecast for 2011/2012.
"Work and Earners' Accounts approaching full solvency gives room to consider levy reductions," Smith said.
