Do we get a credit for the recent no crash weekend?
Probably not with more bikes regos on hold over the winter lowering the level of swill in the trough.

Funny enough there is a story in the Dom Post today about the huge increase in motorcycle and scroter sales this last 12 months (blamed on fuel prices) so.... I am starting to wonder at the accuracy of the rego on hold quotes and figures...........
I have 3 big bikes, one is on hold 2 are rego'd (Ducati is on hold coz its for sale)
I might just open a poll with 2 simple questions
How many bikes do you own?
How many are on hold or expired?
Wonder what the result will be................
Just ride.

Dear Mr. Smith,
Please enclose a check to me for the difference I paid registering my vehicles, to what you actually needed. I understand you were broke. I am broke now.

LOL then I must be at 200%. Two bikes both on hold.
Better that it was, had 4 at one time.
Still, by not paying the fee, saving well over $1k a year, and been doing it for a few years now, so have to be $4-5k up. Might even buy a new bike with the savings :-)
I'll cheerfully pay $150 if I ever get caught, but the simple process of not getting caught appears to work very well.

An issue I have recently spoken to TV1 about
The application of demerit points to a Tax revenue Collection issue is not IMO a good policy
Why should ones license be placed at risk over a tax issue?
Demerits have until recently only been reserved for safety related issues, where is the danger involved in someone not paying a tax fee?
Also, I thought this was not yet in effect?
Just ride.
