Almost totally legal. Will be 100% when I get the licence label on the bike instead of in my wallet.

I did the practical test last year and I'm going to do the scratch test on Friday... questions are pretty easy and i WILL pass.

I'm surprised that the poll shows most are legal... at least 50% of the guys I know arnt legal, maybe KB attracts more of the the good sort?

Only reason I can see for not being 100% legal is lack of money... I ran out while a student and couldn't afford all the upkeep on my bike (leaking fork seals mainly)...

Other than that, if you're not legal, don't bother with Insurance

Well I wait any longer... pulled up on Sunday and doing the test tomorrow... 2 days of swat.

I'll let you know how I get on.

If i'd had a learners on Sunday when I was pulled up I would have also lost my licence because I would have been going 60 something K over the learner 70k limit.
    Shit I'll get it anyway...

Pyro: Well, Bikes are legal here, right?

Indy: Yeah, it's legal, but is ain't a hundred percent legal. I mean you can't ride into a cage covered road, Slip on the gear, and start speedin' away. You're only supposed to ride at your home or certain designated places.

    Pyro: Those are race tracks?

Indy:Yeah, it breaks down like this: it's legal to buy them, it's legal to own them and, if you're the proprietor of a bike shop, it's legal to sell them. It's illegal to ride it, which doesn't really matter 'cause -- get a load this -- if the cops see you speeding, it's illegal for them to chase you. Chasing you is a right that the cops in Auckland don't have.

Pyro: That did it, man -- I'm fuckin' goin', that's all there is to it.

3 cars, 2 trailers and a boat. Everything is rego'd, but sometimes the trailers and boat lapse on the wof been thru 3 checkpoints and they never have checked the trailers or boat, but bloody picky about RUC's go figure. Must make more money on RUC's lapsing.

I am known to wait for the new month when wof's are due too. As if we don't pay enough tax already.

I passed the test easy... 100% in less than 5 minutes I shold'a just dun it years ago.
I'll need to be extra careful now or I might lose it!

I know cops arnt suposed to chase you... but what if they're one of these "no licence" bike riding cops who might chase you anyway?

Not that a cage would eva be able to keep up

Bike's got a rego and WOF, and I've got a licence (for now).

However, the bike has no indicators or mirrors. And sometimes no plate (NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE)
