The best sort of tyre for me?

    Hey everyone.

Its time to get a new rear tyre and to be honest the tyre I had hasnt lasted very long at all on my wr250 that I use as a trail bike and to ride at local fun events and at river. What do most people reccomend? I dont want to spend a lot of money as I am not currently working.
Its always a good ride when you come home in one piece.

I'm running one of the el-cheapo $65 "kiwi-x" type rears from tardme for the first time (a mate bought the wrong size so I bought it of him just as a favour). 3 rides on it so far and it's holding up well and I've been surprised at the grip in the muddy winter conditions.

I've only ridden on sloppy mud and clay so not sure how it would hold up on rocks at a river though.

I had an Innova one I got off torpedo 7 which wasn't too bad, but the best tyre I have had is a trackmax, comes as a set (F+R) for $110+$20 shipping off tardeme. The knobs are bigger so the 450 can't tear them off. Last email address I have is admin@trakmax.com - there is an associated webpage but I can only see the main page.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-294431486.htm - not currently on sale but gives you a description
Smoke 'em if you have 'em

You run what you brung, and pray you brought enough
