Your right, not sure why I didn't see this: "front-right of other vehicle"

I think I originally read that as him being hit on his front right. In that case the car came from the left, and steelphoenix was in the right. Good to hear!

Now to see what happens with insurance. I am curious as to who will pay out, if you have third party cover. Will they fight for you when you are not at fault ?

My garage was broken into for the second time and my bike (had for only two months, replacing the last stolen two) that was dynabolted to the floor was taken along with all of my tools, consumables riding gear and spare parts.

    Beat that.

Sorry to hear of your incidents, glad you are okay - bikes can be repaired, flesh not so easy!

Good to hear you were well served by people and the police, just hope everything ticks along to get your pride and joy restored (or if not, go new bike shopping! )

Its about you being safe & well

So good to know you are well and safe (go the ATGATT)

What ever speed you were doing on the roundabout it really does tell us something about the cager when you can't scrub enough speed off on a CBR250RR (low weight and powerful breaks).

Silly question as your still grieving for your lost bike.. but any ideas for the next ride? One with an UZi holster mayhaps??
If I had a GF I'd like only ride 5 times a week!

Okay, my week doesn't suck as much as yours. Hope you're suitably insured and they catch the bastard!

Thanks everyone who offered well-wishes and advice.

To answer the questions - yes, I have full insurance; yes, I had right-of-way on the roundabout; and I'm waiting to see what the mechanics/insurers say about my bike before having ideas about a new one...

I am insured but I hate endless hours doing paperwork and on the phone. Also the chances of justice being served on the perps are non existant as police spend little time catching thieves because it's easier to make money dishing out speeding tickets and the government demand the police run as a company rather than a public service.

Bad luck that you would be able to give me a run for the money on having a bad week though. I hope it turns out all ok in the end for you.

Good to hear, bumps and bruises aside your accident when not at fault has saved you the trouble of sorting out the previous accident which may have been legally dubious, and from the damage you described you'll probably get to go bike shopping soon.

Glad you are ok,but I would say that you are not unlucky, rather the opposite, you had two accidents in one day and came out of it relatively unscathed.I,d say you were very lucky....
