    Entry to FIM MX Race?

Planning to be at Loket on August 7 and maybe someone can help with some questions:

1 - What aprox is the admission charge likely to be?

2 - Does it need to be paid in CZK or EURO?

3 - Further, is there likely to be credit card facilities?
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

1 - Id expect you'd pay around the 50 euro mark, what ever that is in CZK.

2 - wouldnt know, but id expect it to be czk's.

3 - from the GP's ive been to, its best to take cash, and cash to use the portcoms!

Hey, thanks for that. I have no idea what we're going to be confronted with so that's a BIG help.

So, looks like it's making sure we have some local currency.

Yeah, they use Koruna - CZK. Our time of arrival makes it impossible to get to a bank so we will need to use an ATM. Can't buy it at a NZ Bank it seems.

Thanks for the link. The Loket MX www address won't work for me.

Don't know what the Loket round will be like, but I went to the British round 2 years ago and the best advice I can impart is take plenty of spends for cheap gear at the trade stands.

The last two Numar GP's, MxoN '06, was meant to go to MXoN '08, had ticket, but had a big night the night before, missed train, had hangover, gutted I didnt go. Namur was easy, get train to Numar, spotted the hill, walked 10mins from the train and up to the track. Place we stayed at was also Tony Cooksley, ended up dropping us at the train station on the Monday. Been to two world indoor trials(one of the best motorcycle sports to watch live), 3 WSB's and a motogp. That was my OE! Really wanted to get to a speedway GP, IoM and an Irish road race but they'll have to wait till next time..

Hey, good on ya. I would expect that watching the world class trials riders in action would be wonderful. It is a very under rated sport and deserves more acclaim.

Really looking forward to my first World off-road event. Going on to the MotoGP Brno round the following weekend. YeeHaa..................
