    1948 Velocette MAC

    We have just got back our MAC engine after a long time... it is completely brand new and perfect. Now all we need to do id put it back in the frame and start riding it Click image for larger version.

    My father-in-law had a Velocette MAC. He looked like James Dean in the photos we have of him when he was touring around NZ on it.
    He's dead now and so no doubt is the bike...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Ha ha - saw the lights on the the garage last night as I went for a run (stop laughing - the council specifically asked me to only run in the dark)... Out there polishing bits eh?? Good onya ....

    CAMS, (Classic Action Motorcycle Sport SI) have approached South Canterbury Car Club about a weekend hire of Levels in the future to run a Classic, Post Classic Festival and against all odds have been granted one of their five only weekends per year to do this. It is off in the future, 2014, which if you a younger person may seem eons away but to some of us it is only a couple of seasons away. Two years to organise what we hope will be a very big affair down here.
