Interesting. I think gathering the data itself is not a bad thing, of course doing it without the customers knowing is. And using it to set speed traps is pretty stink, shouldn't the accident figures and reports show where the best places are to increase driver safety? unless the aim is something else of course...
I think one of the big GPS manufacturers (may have been garmin?) was developing traffic flow communication between the units so they would route drivers around traffic jams. That's a good use of it I think![]()
