Welcome to riding bikes Gibbox, the invader is not a bad wee machine, but as usual the Uncle/Nana/Old Fart (select what you feel appropriate) is going to suggest something. Paikak hill is a great hill to ride, but watch out for motorists/regulars. It is not uncommon to find line crossers on some bends. I realise you've ridden scooters before (someone has to
) but on a serious note, I would not recommend 'chasing your mate'... and an intruder will not handle the same as a naked 250 (standard) or a semi sports, full sports. Get a good feel for riding the bike and your abilities before tackling the paekak with any sort of 'spirited riding'....
Otherwise, enjoy, get some good gear... it's worth every penny spent
