    VTR vs 916 vs TLR

Came across this video, or parts of a video, while admiring the awsome biking weather we're having. Video is old so most likely a lot of people know these guys (who are these guys?) or seen the video but a good watch if you like twins being put through their paces.

Have to say these guys riding abilities makes the video intresting to watch

How come it looks like a public road, and yet it's "VTR vs 916 vs TLR". indicating a battle?
What's up with that? [insert the useful but defunct :spudwhat: emoticon here]

Edit: Oh. Now I see. I watched video 3, and see that it's just your usual twats behaving like,....well.... fuckwits.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

Yes they're also fast bikes, but I'm refering to these three riders in particular.

Have a few of these - good watch. Absolutely nuts doing what they do on a public road - they are all lucky boys they didn't end up road paint. A few of them ended up being BSB riders and Shakey even ended up in WSB if I Remember rightly.

I think Shakey even ended up in MotoGP a while back there.

Yep well old clips and have provided much amusement on web forums over the years, usual stuff ie young blokes that got old (doh) and chose to forget there antics when young and turned into safety Nazis thinking that will defer young guys from doing there thing.

OI,thats lardy arsed TLR,not to be confused with the S before it.Methinks the reason the R used to run wild in the front end was the huge piece of plastic Suzuki stuck on the rear end.The 10 pound weight difference felt like 50 and looked a hundred.Sad really cause motor wise they had a great thing going, horsepower wise ahead of the 916 but couldnt come up with a frame and suspenders.

Yeah - none of the crowd I knew could afford 916's, but several TL vs VTR comparos done - being a suzuki Nut....I really started to dislike the VTR. They handled well so well...thankfully I kept hearing about them running out of gas at 150km's
Ended up going the 600/4 route for funz.
