[QUOTE=Brett;1130107057]I was contacted via my trademe add for the gsxr by a guy claiming to be from Hellensville.
QUOTE]
Pass his number on...tell someone to contact him offering him their bike, as you gave them his number as you've decided to keep your bike. Set a meeting point, and collar the cunt.
Yeah I still have them. In fact, txtd him this morning asking if he still wanted the gsxr, he txtd back:
Me: hey mate, are u still keen on buying the gsxr?
Him: how much
Me: Same as ur offer the other day
Him: I was lukn at a few kant remember sorry.

Him: hae mate ill give u 8100 for your gsxr todae
Me: Ok, where in the country are you from.
Him: helinsville would u b able to meet me in westgate,,
Me: Yes, when?
Him: in abowt an hour, wats your bank detailz so I kan make a cash deposit in to your acc
Me: most banks are at westgate, can get bank cheque or cash out there and do the change of rego at the same time.
Him: I do that online and im putting cash into ur acc bcause i need receipt u kan check it as soon as ive put cash in it shows up instantly.
Me: Sorry mate, a bit wary of scammers on trademe, not really willing to give out bank details to someone I have never met or spoken to. Just try to call ur number but went to voicemail.
Him: sorry mi ph plyn up, i kant do anything with ur acc num but deposit cash in.
Me: Who do you bank with?
Him: tsb but it doesn't matter i taking cash to ur bank and putting it in 2 your acc.
Me: do you have a landline I can contact you on?
Him: no i dont, and ime dpositing cash, not a bank transfer.
Me: The give cash straight to me when I give you the bike and I will take care of it. I will give u a written signed receipt or we can deposit it into the ASB at westgate together.
Him: kall
* So I call him, he tries to explain that he doesn't want to do it at the swap because he has had guys just gap off with his money on him...(how is giving me the money earlier via a deposit any better???) I offered to meet him at his house to do the trade and he made excuses saying that he lives in Hellensville and it is really far. This is when he told me his parents were giving him the money to buy the bike so would need to talk to them first. Never heard back from him.
The I sent the text messages this morning and got the replies above.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
Happy to do this, but if you want to go down the path of getting him prosecuted, not sure how this will stand up legally (entrapment). My brother and his gf who both live out by Westgate are cops, could see if they can give us a hand, or organise some of the local cops to give us a hand. Yes he was a youngish sounding guy.

He rode it some distance on the road after taking it yesterday - so not the brightest crayon in the box!
My guess if its the same guy/group this was probably the lastest bike they took today.
