So the moral of the story is to chuck a nice set of Savage badges on your GSXR.

Kawasaki Ninja thats rather 'broad' as with CBR and other types.

Pity there aint no CC ratings on the stats! Would be interesting to see which one gets nicked (eg zx2r or zx7r etc) the most.

Harley Davidson FXR (what the f...) FXR?! *puzzled look*

GSXR etc is not exactly specific since there are 250/600/750/1000's. Maybe more get stolen to repair all the one's that crash.

The article simply said GSXR Series,Ninja Series.
It doesn't go into that much more detail.
Harley FXR =Their most popular an cheapest big block model in NZ.
Their are of course a heap of bikes not represented but these are their top 4/5 in these catagorys.

A police article on stolen bikes I've read pretty much agrees with that.

Things were so much simpler in the 70's - Pom bikes got flogged, Jappas didn't. (and what few Hogleys there were in NZ wouldn't start, so neither crashing nor getting flogged was an issue)
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.
