Are you refering to the clip in the first post, on the nice scenic road? Because I can guarantee that those mistakes happen at and below the legal speed limit. Nearly did it myself several times on my learners when I was well under the speed limit. If I panicked, I might do so again - but hopefully I could focus and avoid the target fixation/grabing the front brake. Actually, hopefully I'll never have to find out.
