    Couples that ride

I know there are a number of couples on here that both ride..
    MSTRS/yungatart...White Trash/Riff Raff...Renegade Master/Indiana_Jones to name but a few..
Question is...If your other half also rides, do you ride together when time allows? if so, do you also enjoy the time spent with your significant other while doing so?

That would be a resounding yes to both of those questions.
However we also spend time apart doing our own thing and that is very cool too!

The Chancellor does not ride (yet) but loves to come out with me. I often end up in some amazing places, alone, & always feel a tad guilty being unable to share. .
I'm really looking forward to the day she gets on the road so we can have adventures together. A lap of the South Island is top of the list.

I haven't met your significant other so couldn't comment on the enjoyment.

    South Island?...yes indeed.
To do something like that (or just a two days away) with just yourselves making the decisions makes it all the sweeter. Own pace, do whatever suits.

My "significant other" won't go anywhere near any motorbike that I am in control of. Not even to do the annual Cambridge to Tron Toy Run...

Mind you, I appreciate the time out anyway.

Yes Pillion Partners count as well...
Riding a bike can be very much an individual thing that when teamed up with your partner takes it to another level.

Mrs. Bear and I loved riding together, it was nice to have her on the back of the bike, esp since getting the interphones. I enjoyed riding alone at times, but it was far better with her.

Mind you, she was also a perfect pillion, so relaxed and comfortable you wouldn't know she was there but for her cuddling up to me. She was a total pleasure to ride with!

Sadly our riding days are over, but we still enjoy each other's company in the MX5 or the Kizashi.

Same .. she came on the back ONCE and told others she enjoyed it .. she told me she'd never do that again .. and I was very careful too ...

Riff raff and I would love to get out for a ride together but the little ones simply don't allow it. Lack of bikes owned by us in the garage is a hinderence as well but Sue will quite often climb on a bike I bring home if it appeals in some way. Funny as fuck when she almost dislocated a hip trying to get on the WR250R

Being a good pillion is a huge asset in a partner. The only time I notice my petit is under hard braking when she tries to climb over my shoulders

I have had pillions in the past who insisted on leaning the wrong way, nightmare. An ex even fell asleep, completely missed the race down the motorway tail gating a Porsche at 140mph. Probably for the best.

I'm looking forward to my trip & the girlfriend carrying her own luggage, a pannier each is not enough.

Well having a pillion partner has changed my riding habits! I don't ride as far or as often as I used to, but it is an enjoyable change of pace with my girl on the back.

She is keen to ride with me, providing I don't get up to my usual pootling shennanigans! She will never ride her own bike, but it doesn't matter since she loves to ride on the back with me.

At this stage, she has more riding gear than me now!
