Right on the money there chicky! I was dating someone who wasn't a rider when I took it up, it definitely caused problems (on top of other major issues I didn't see at the time) when I wanted to go for a ride with the guys and he would get all jealous and possessive.
Not been even remotely interested in dating anyone who doesn't ride since then

We are now riding lots together on 2 bikes , but my problem is I am always looking in my damn mirror to ensure she got around the corner ok, saw that bit of loose stuff or whatever it is i see first. Out front, Misred certainly has the ability to ride her own ride & not feel any pressure to push it along, but month by month she is really getting into a good groove & LOVING the extra horsey's that the 600 has. Out front though I will still always watch behind & when I do get ahead & wait at the next turn - if she is longer than I think she should be , that's not fun either. All said n done though , we have a blast when out together!!!!

I'm lucky in that my wife started riding at the same time I did so I don't have to worry about her riding.

Sums up my thoughts too - boy does it cause me stress when she disappears from my mirror - and I turn around only to find her stopped and taking pictures...

Have you thought about an intercom ?
Like you I was always looking behind for mrs J, We've just got an intercom and it's alright It's not on all the time, just when we want to ask each other something or if I want to know whether she want a latte or flat white before I take off ahead

Hi there, which sort did you get? Grant and I were talking about intercom's the other day, i like to have quiet music on in the back ground when i ride and he reallllly doesn't want to have to listen to that (haha understandable) but i didn't realise you can turn them off. Do you know if you can switch from say music to talking??? Thanks for any advice

If I want to say JEEBUS.... DID YOU SEE THAT! I push the button, wait till I hear it connect and start talking, her music will stop when my voice takes over, if she doeasn't want to talk then she pushes her button to disconnect, and my music will start again....
My headset is paired with my phone and her headset, and hers is paired with her phone and my headset

SWMBO sold her bike and is happy on the back. Well... slightly concerned on the back when in the vicinity of Coro loop...

Agree. Balu and I (before he sold his burgman) decided to do the Coro loop one lovely mid-week day a few months ago, and it was fabulous. The only issue I had was where he decided to stop at Whitianga - up on a grassy area which, when I pulled up next to him to stop, I discovered had a little hidden dip in the grass exactly where my foot was trying to meet the ground...

upgraded is an interesting way of describing it...

....mmmmm yes the 'stopping' point can catch even the bestest rider at times...very fine loose gravel is another 'floot plant point' to look out for..
