    Odd tyre size?

After lowsiding today, I've decided my FXR needs new tyres. It still has the originals...

The sizes are 80/90R17 front and 100/90R17 rear. Most shops seem to have difficulty finding anything in this size.

Anyone know of tyres that are the right size or similair and what the effects of different sizes will be?

Re your 80/90-17, We are running The Heidenau K56 2.75-17 on the front of a few KR150's for racing with good results. (see Trademe)
Good grippy tyre, though may wear faster they you would like if your just communting on it.
    Cheers.

You have very little choice of quality brand tyres in exactly those sizes.

Continental ContiGos or Pirelli City Demons are probably the closest match for size you'll find.

Or a set of Bridgestone Battleaxe BT39SS.

Could do BT45 110 for the rear too.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Had a talk with a couple of shops and settled on Pirelli MT75's. The sizes are pretty close and the bike shops say it won't make any noticeable difference.
    Also they aren't too costly.
