I have recently bought a '06 SV650s, great bike for everything, much better than my cbr600f i had before. Fitted with full, two bros racing exhaust system and high flow filter. I love the punchy vtwin power, but the top end gearing seems a little short for a bike that has such strong acceleration. Ill go to over take a line of cars or blast between corners out in the hills, and within seconds im redlining 6th gear at 217kmh...The guy i bought it off had just fitted new chain and sprockets and I know that the naked sv has different sprocket size to give it shorter gearing, maybe he orderd a set of chain and sprockets for an "SV" not a "SVS"? Any 1 know what the sizes are for sv and for svs? Or any1 got a naked sv650? Can you please go down the motorway on it and tell me your top speed at 10,500rpm....
